Architecture:
The hotel is a 5‑story building, built in 1895 by a wealthy Cuban family (at that time a two‑story mansion); later the building housed the editorial office of a local newspaper; since 1909 the mansion has been a hotel; the lobby is decorated with colorful tiles with intricate patterns, high ceilings with fully restored bas‑reliefs, and slender white columns; on the second floor of the mansion there is a cozy inner courtyard where you can have a cup of coffee at a table; many rooms have small windows located at the top of the wall that let in little light; there are rooms with shuttered windows overlooking neighboring streets.
Built in 1909, renovated in 1991.
Located in the historic center of Havana.
