Day 1. Arrival in Panama City

Arrival in Panama City and private transfer to Renaissance Panama City Hotel (approximately 35 minutes from the airport, centrally and conveniently located).

General orientation about the country and the city.
Free time to rest.

Day 2. Panama City & the Canal

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private 8-hour city tour, including a visit to the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal.

The excursion includes:

•  Observation of the lock operations and passing vessels
•  Visit to the Panama Canal Museum at the Miraflores Visitor Center
•  Screening of a documentary about the construction and operation of this 20th-century engineering masterpiece, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”

Tour through historic and modern districts:

•  Former Canal Zone (U.S. residential area during construction)
•  Balboa Avenue along Panama Bay
•  Casco Antiguo (Old Town), colonial quarter with plazas and historic architecture
• National Theatre (Panamanian neoclassical style)
•  Plaza de Francia
•  Church of San José with its famous Golden Altar
• Church of San Felipe Neri
•  Plaza Bolívar with monument to Simón Bolívar
•  Cathedral Square, Metropolitan Cathedral, Canal Museum, and Municipal Palace

Continuation to the Amador Causeway, the former islands of Naos, Perico, and Flamenco.

Day 3. San Blas Archipelago

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private excursion to the San Blas Archipelago (lunch with soft drink included).
Return to Panama City hotel.

Relax on Caribbean beaches without the need for a domestic flight.
Optional (extra charge): visit to Icodub and Perro Islands.
Encounter with the indigenous Guna culture.

Day 4. Chagres National Park & Emberá Community

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private excursion to Chagres National Park and visit to the Emberá indigenous community (fish lunch and one drink included).
Additional visit to a waterfall and the Ugu Museum.
Return to Panama City.

During the experience:

•  Pre-Columbian history of Panama and Mesoamerica
•  Emberá traditions, crafts, and lifestyle
•  Canoe ride along the Chagres River
•  Swim at “Chorro del Mono” waterfall, where capuchin monkeys are sometimes seen

Departure at 08:00. Approximate return at 16:00.

Closed sports shoes that can get wet are recommended, as small jungle streams may need to be crossed depending on the season.

Day 5. Panamá Viejo & Adventure Experiences

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit to the ruins of Panamá Viejo, archaeological complex and museum.

Day access to Hotel Point with included experiences:

• High-altitude selfie platforms
•  Museum of Lights
• Cultural activities near the Canal

Return to hotel in Panama City.

Day 6. Transfer to the Pacific Coast

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to Hotel Riu Playa Blanca - All Inclusive.
Free time to enjoy the ocean and hotel facilities.

Day 7 & Day 8. Beach Relaxation

Free days to enjoy the Pacific Ocean, swimming pools, gastronomy, and resort services.

Day 9. Return to Panama City

Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer back to Panama City and accommodation again at Renaissance Hotel.
Free time.

Day 10. Shopping at Albrook

Breakfast at the hotel.

Individual transfer to Albrook Mall at 10:00.
Free time for shopping and lunch.
Return transfer to the hotel at 17:00.

Day 11. Departure

Free time.
Transfer to the airport at the scheduled time.
Return flight.
