Day 1. Arrival in Panama

Arrival in Panama City and private transfer to Renaissance Panama City Hotel (approximately 35 minutes from the airport, centrally located and convenient).

General orientation about the country and the city.
Free time to rest and begin to feel the tropical rhythm.

Day 2. Panama City & the Canal

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private 8-hour city tour, including a visit to the Panama Canal locks.

The excursion includes:

•  Miraflores Locks — observation of the lock operations and vessel transit
•  Panama Canal Museum at the Miraflores Visitor Center
•  Screening of a documentary about the construction and operation of this 20th-century engineering masterpiece, known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”

Tour through both historic and modern areas of the city:

• Former Canal Zone (U.S. residential area during construction)
•  Balboa Avenue along Panama Bay
•  Casco Antiguo (Old Town), colonial district with narrow streets and historic squares
•  National Theatre, one of the finest examples of neoclassical architecture in Panama
•  Plaza de Francia
• Church of San José with its famous Golden Altar
•  Church of San Felipe Neri
•  Plaza Bolívar with the monument to Simón Bolívar
•  Cathedral Square, Metropolitan Cathedral, Canal Museum, and Municipal Palace

Continuation to the Amador Causeway, formerly connecting the islands of Naos, Perico, and Flamenco.

Day 3. San Blas Archipelago

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private excursion to the San Blas Archipelago (lunch with a soft drink included).
Return to the hotel in Panama City.

Relaxation on Caribbean beaches without the need for a domestic flight.
Optional (supplement): visit to Icodub and Perro Islands.
Encounter with the indigenous Guna culture.

Day 4. Chagres National Park & Emberá Community

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private excursion to Chagres National Park and visit to the Emberá indigenous community (fish lunch and one drink included).
Visit to a waterfall and the Ugu Museum.
Return to Panama City.

During the experience:

•  Pre-Columbian history of Panama and Mesoamerica
•  Emberá traditions, crafts, and lifestyle
•  Canoe ride along the Chagres River
• Swim at “Chorro del Mono” waterfall, where capuchin monkeys occasionally descend
•  Traditional dances and typical lunch (fried tilapia, plantains, and fruits)

Departure at 08:00. Approximate return at 16:00.

Closed sports shoes that can get wet are recommended, as in certain seasons small jungle streams must be crossed, sometimes with water up to knee level.

Day 5. Panamá Viejo & Panoramic Experiences

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit to the ruins of Panamá Viejo, archaeological complex and museum.

Day access to Hotel Point with included activities:

•  Zipline
•  Panoramic swings
•  High-altitude selfie platforms
•  Museum of Lights
•  Cultural experiences along the Canal

Return to the hotel in Panama City.

Day 6. Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free time.
• Transfer to the airport at the scheduled time.
