Panoramic Excursion Across the Dominican Republic

A fascinating journey awaits you to the famous “Blue Lagoon,” to Montaña Redonda with its breathtaking views — where you can swing on the iconic “swings in the sky” and feel like Harry Potter riding a flying broom.

You will also visit the stunning Playa Macao, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch of fresh fish with a side dish at an authentic café located right on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

We will explore the former residence area popularly known as the “City of Millionaires,” today called Cap Cana. You will discover this exclusive zone with its elegant infrastructure. We will also visit the world-famous Playa Juanillo and stroll along the Marina, where numerous luxury yachts are docked.

Excursion Program

Early in the morning, a comfortable vehicle will pick you up from your hotel. Depending on your location, in approximately 20 minutes we will reach the first stop: Hoyo Azul (Blue Lagoon).

We will descend about 15 meters into a cave to reach the lagoon. There will be time for swimming.

Attention: In the “City of Millionaires” version of the excursion, Macao Beach is not included.
Next, we head to Macao’s public surf beach. Here you can watch surf school training sessions or simply relax, swim, and sunbathe. An early lunch will be served directly on the beach (included in the price). You may also purchase the famous cocktail served inside a natural pineapple — the classic Piña Colada.

After enjoying Macao, we continue exploring the country. About 30 minutes along a scenic road brings us to Montaña Redonda.

At the base of the mountain, we switch to pickup trucks and drive up to the summit (800 meters above sea level). From the top, spectacular panoramic views open over the Atlantic Ocean, lagoons, the Península de Samaná, and the eastern mountain range. After plenty of photos, we descend.
